Teaching Evaluations
09/2013 - Present
Teachers should be constantly improving throughout their careers. One of the many ways to do this is to through evaluations. I participate in evaluations, self-reflections, and professional development auditing each year by inviting others into my classroom to observe and critique my teaching. In addition to this I am also accountable for reflecting on my semester, the curriculum, and my evaluation through a written self-reflection and a statement of accomplishment, which tracks my professional development and successes. My evaluations can be viewed by using the following links: 1, 2, 3.

As the English elective courses at Seoul National University of Science and Technology grew and split in to three upper levels (4, 5, and 6), a need for placing students also grew. I originally started working on the project in October of 2013, and since that then, the placement test and testing process has undergone three major iterations.

Academic Writing Course Websites
08/2010 - 05/2013
I used a combination of interactive websites as a learning management system for my academic writing courses. The classes were taught in a computer lab, so I posted student versions of lesson plans and materials on Blogspot. Handouts were all digital linked to on Blogspot from the file storage site Dropbox where they were hosted so that students could access them during class as they follow through each lesson. I used Engrade to manage student records and privately share grades with each student. You can view the course websites at the following links: ESL-114-G-1, ESL-114-G-2, ESL-115-T, ESL-115-H, ESL-115-M, and ESL-501. Please be aware that many of the links are now broken as I have moved my files to a website with greater storage capacity and no longer use these course websites.
